Ch 10: Conics

Here we are at the end of the road. Only one thing left to cover: CONICS.
What are conics? Conics are cross sections of a cone.
If you take a cone and slice it at different angles you will see the 4 different conic shapes: Parabalas
Circles
Elipses
Hyperbolas
You will complete a Webquest to explore and learn about conics.
Have fun as you explore the world of conics.
Here is the link to the webquest.

Please post a response to the following questions:
1. What are some of the ways Exponential and Logarithmic Functions are used in the "Real World"? Please explain your answer in detail.

2. How does the properties of exponents we have learned in the last 2 chapters help us to solve exponential and logarithmic functions? Or do they have no bearing on the subject?

Please include only your first name and last initial in your responses.
