Matrices - The Math Behind the Code

In this unit we have discussed how to add, subtract, and scalar multiple matrices.
Then we learned how to multiply matrices, find the determinate and use determinants to solve systems of equations(Cramer's Rule).
Now we are learning how to find inverse matrices. We will use Inverse matrices to solve systems of equations and to write secret codes.

We completed a Texas Instruments activity .

Students will be creating their own secret coded messages and sending them along with the key to the teacher.

For extra credit, students will complete a webquest. They will not be working as groups but as individuals.
